The Brocksfordian magazine was the annual school magazine produced to review that year and also work as a prospectus for future parents.

The Marshall Riding ‘Improvement’ Prize. Simply the Marshall Riding Prize in our day (’73-’77). Fond memories of all that… two horses, one brown (?) and one white -‘Spider’ being the latters name methinks. Why so special ? … in all ones years of torment, at all our schools, this was the only prize one ever won ! The prize in our day consisted of three books !… riding related books naturally. Alas, they be no more, After finishing our ‘education’ all such stuff met its fate… a bonfire of our infanticies ’81 !
